Warzone Pacific Meta Perks
The Warzone Meta perks haven’t shifted much since the game’s inception, and Season 2 Reloaded doesn’t look to be shaking things up too much in this regard either. These are all the perks you should consider running!
Perk 1
- Double Time: Double the duration of Tactical Sprint. Increase crouch movement speed by 30%.
Double Time is used in an estimated 40% of loadouts due to the incredible movement options it allows. Doubling your sprint time not only makes you a harder target to hit but allows you to escape tricky situations and catch up to fleeing enemies faster as well!
- Cold Blooded: Undetectable by AI targeting system and thermal optics. Does not trigger High Alert warning. Still visible to Recon Drones, but cannot be marked.
In a game where remaining undetected is the difference between life and death, being able to avoid detection from an enemy AI targeting system is a godsend! Used in an estimated 31% of loadouts, Cold Blooded stands at the top of the Warzone Meta.
Perk 2
- Overkill: Carry two primary weapons. Cannot equip two of the same weapon, secondaries cannot be equipped.
As you can imagine, carrying two primary weapons is very powerful (some may even call it “overkill”). Approximately 66% of all players use Overkill!
- Ghost: Undetectable by UAVs, Radar Drones and Heartbeat Sensors. Still appear on killstreak radar when firing a weapon, and detectable by Advanced UAV but removes direction.
Ghost is a great alternative for those not running Overkill and who want to remain undetected for similar reasons to Cold Blooded. Approximately 18% of loadouts currently run Ghost in today’s Warzone meta.
- Restock: Recharge equipment over 50 seconds. Throwing knives can recharge 1 extra knife, decoy grenades and stim recharge twice as fast. In multiplier only the recharge takes just 25 seconds.
If you plan to be alive for a long time and achieve victory, chances are you’re going to run out of equipment eventually. Restock saves you the trouble of having to scavenge for supplies by automatically recharging used equipment over a set time period! Restock is being considered a lot more recently by high-caliber players of the current Warzone meta.
Perk 3
- Combat Scout: Damaging an enemy briefly highlights them for you and marks them for the entire squad
Combat Scout is a newer perk but one that has since become the go-to for your third Perk pickup. More than a third of all players are currently using Combat Scout as their third perk in the current Warzone meta.
- Amped: Faster weapon swap and rocket launcher reload speed. Does not affect swapping to pistols and knives. Most equipment is used faster.
Faster reload speeds, and weapons swaps have been a staple since Modern Warfare 2’s Sleight of Hand. Amped is no different and is a great option for your third Perk.
Warzone Pacific Meta Equipment
For those unaware, Warzone equipment is divided into two types. These are called Lethal and Tactical. Lethal equipment is designed to kill or injure opponents, whereas tactical equipment is designed to place you in an advantageous situation. Here are some of the most-used equipment in the current Warzone meta.
Lethal
- Throwing Knife: The throwing knife is the most popular lethal equipment, with a third of the player base opting to use it.
- Semtex: Semtex is the second most-used lethal equipment, with approximately a quarter of all players choosing to use it.
Tactical
- Heartbeat Sensor: The heartbeat sensor is currently the most popular tactical equipment sitting at around 40% usage.
- Stims: Stims take the second place spot for tactical equipment sitting at just under a third of usage. However, this is steadily rising.
