If you’re looking for a long, amazing journey with plenty of terror and mystery, Elden Ring is the game for you. Developed by the studio that brought us the Dark Souls trilogy, this action-adventure game takes all the best elements of a pure RPG and combines them into one awesome package.
As you explore the wonderful world of Elden Ring, you’ll come across various items that you can collect. One of the most important items is the Golden Seed. Golden Seeds are essential if you want to increase your Sacred Flask capacity. So be sure to keep an eye out for them as you play!
The Golden Seeds are a type of item scattered throughout the Lands Between. They can be found near Erdtree saplings, as well as by killing bosses. Golden Seeds are used to create Potions, which can be used to restore Health, Mana, or Energy.
They can also be used to create Buff Potions, which provide temporary boosts to stats such as Strength, Agility, or Constitution. In addition, Golden Seeds can be used to create Bomb Potions, which can be used to damage enemies or clear obstacles.
Collecting Golden Seeds in the early game is quite important, as they can give you the upper hand against the many evils of the land. However, be sure to use them wisely, as they are quite rare.
Elden Ring Golden Seed Guide
As you embark on your journey, keep an eye out for two special items: Golden Seeds and Sacred Tears. The Golden Seeds can be used to upgrade your inventory and carry more flasks, while the Sacred Tears will increase the potency of your flasks.
The Seeds can be found by Summoning Torrents and searching for golden tree saplings around the world. Keep an eye out for the screenshots below to recognize them. As for the tears, they can be found anywhere in the Lands Between. With these two items, you’ll be well on your way to success!
How to upgrade flasks in Elden Ring?
As any experienced adventurer knows, a well-stocked supply of potions is essential for survival in the treacherous Lands Between. In addition to the standard health and mana potions, another item that can be of great help is the Sacred Tears.
These collectible items increase the effectiveness of your potions, making them invaluable for restoring health and mana in the heat of battle. While they are somewhat rare, they are not nearly as difficult to find as the Fire Keeper Souls of Dark Souls fame.
With a little exploration, you should be able to find plenty of Sacred Tears to keep your supply levels high. So don’t forget to keep an eye out for these valuable items as you travel through the dangerous Lands Between.
How many flasks can you carry in Elden Ring?
In Elden Ring, players will have access to a total of 12 flasks. This number includes both the Flask of Crimson Tears and the Flask of Cerulean Tears. Players can decide which flasks to carry more at a Site of Grace.
If you are planning to go with an FP-focused character, you might want to have a balanced number of flasks. Though players who enjoy going with a pure STR build will not need many Flask of Cerulean Tears as much. Those who rely on incantations and Ashes of War can instead have more FP potions at their side.
Ultimately, it is up to the player to decide which flask loadout is best for their playstyle.
How many Golden Seeds are there?
While exploring the world of Elden Ring, you’ll come across Golden Seeds – items that can be used to upgrade your flasks.
You can only carry a maximum of 30 Golden Seeds at a time, however, this doesn’t mean you’re limited to 30 flasks. Each time you want to upgrade your potions, you’ll need to spend one additional Seed, meaning the cost of upgrading your flasks also goes up with each consecutive upgrade.
\For example, upgrading from 6 to 8 flasks will require 2 Seeds, while upgrading from 8 to 10 flasks will require 3 Seeds. This pattern continues until you reach the maximum number of 12 flasks. Although it may take some time and effort to collect all 30 Golden Seeds, doing so will give you the upper hand as you venture through Elden Ring’s dangerous lands.
Golden Seed Locations in Limgrave
Limgrave is the starting area of the game and it is a forgotten region ruled by the Stormveil Castle. The one that seems close to the starting location is actually quite difficult to get. As we mentioned earlier, most Golden Seeds are found near Erdtree saplings.
But some bosses also drop seeds, like the Ulcerated Tree Spirit which you can find in Fringefolk Hero’s Cave. You will need one extra seed every time you try to add a new potion to your inventory. Here’s how to get more flasks in Elden Ring.
